赤河左岸先生 love to play with emotions and feelings!
The story between Rukiya and Shin was really the one that made me cry the most. I re-read this story at least 10x and I cried everytime I read it.
The love story between the two of them was never sent across. Shin never had the chance to before he found out that Rukiya was exterminated by a meteorite.
Rukiya knew that he was about to die, quickly build an android bot just for Shin knowing that Shin would be all alone in space. If it was me I would fly up and spend my time with him, but knowing that there's not even a ticket left sold to meet my mate, I would also not reveal that the world is coming to an end.
If i was Shin, I definitely would fly back to Earth and die with him. It's painful to not be with the one I love.
Rukiya and Shin both walked on different set of path, while Shin says that he does not have a "family", Rukiya sees differently. Rukiya regrets not proposing to him. I believe in that term dating is not considered as family but proposing and marriage is. Hence, that hurtful word when Shin mentioned that he does "Not" have a family on Earth makes him flew out to space for his work.
赤河左岸先生 work always hits hard and it makes one think quite a bit to the story. Her endings always leave 1 MC immortal/never aging , the other one as a mortal. It's painful to think if in the future of 60/80 years later what will happen to Shin?While the android Rukiya is going to be floating around in space? It's painful but endearing to think about it.

First! The cover is beautifully drawn and so amazing. I was really attracted to 赤河左岸先生 work. The first book I read was 果ての荒野でバカンスを and I totally was immersed into the story. I decided to try and read 屍と花嫁 and I have no regrets. I cried to the beautiful storyline and plot twist.
The story goes between two half brothers Jin (Younger brother ) and Li ( Older brother ) that lived in the same household but had different treatments. Jin was then set to get married in an arranged marriage which both brothers accepted quietly even with feelings they have for one another which they thought was (Forbidden). They never stood the chance to confess their feelings for one another either.
Li then overheard of someone plotting against the fiancee of Jin that decided to take matters into hands to keep the "happiness" for his younger brother. Took the blunt of the after effects of it.
The story then evolved to what happened to the aftermath and repercussion of each and everyone's action, that's when the plot twist comes. It was a solid storyline and suffice to show how both brothers overcome their emotions and family relationship.
It has a little supernatural into the story if you like it, the ending was written beautifully and with a happy note. Thank you sensei!

I read my manga on coolmic but I want to support sensei here by voting for her in chil children. Please give her many love. By voting 神 !! Story between Eve and Gozu has lots of love and laughter. It's funny to see how Gozu gets all puppy eyes just for Eve because he truly loves Eve and wants to protect him.
