Smexy and Fun!
This is a great story for people who want something lighthearted and full of hot smex!
The story has some pretty hilarious parts, so I had a lot of fun reading it. It’s essentially a fluffy story, so don’t expect too much in terms of a serious story progression. Despite that, there are some interesting twists and turns for you to enjoy.
I also really enjoyed the art style too. The seme is HOT and the uke is really cute. When it comes to their smex scenes - it is STEAMY! And there’s quite a lot of it too, which I really appreciated ^^
I really recommend people not to read any spoilers on this. You’ll enjoy it much more if you don’t! The start might seem a little ridiculous to some people, but I really urge you to stick with it and read it until the end!
For those studying Japanese, there’s no furigana in this but the themes in this story aren’t very complicated so it was still a relatively easy read for those who are probably in the higher intermediate to advanced level.

The couple in this story is just so CUTE!
They have a great chemistry and you can really feel the development of their relationship. What I really like about their relationship is how they’re so considerate of the other person. The seme is so protective of the uke, but not in an overwhelming way. The uke is also just so cute and simply loves spending time with the seme. I personally think the artist did a great job at drawing the uke <3
For people who like smexy time, this story brings it to you right from the beginning! The smex scenes are hot! The seme is a beast in bed and it’s really fun to see how much the uke enjoys it. Post-sex uke is super duper adorable!!
While the story does cover some dark themes, I think it does a fairly good job at dealing with it. (People who are sensitive with themes around domestic abuse should be aware). The other characters, including the seme, do a great job at supporting the uke and stepping up when they realise something isn’t right.
There’s an ongoing tug-and-pull with their relationship as misunderstandings pop up between the two characters, but I never felt frustrated with how the story develops. The scene where they finally confess to each other is really sweet though!
For anyone who read the original serialised version, you should definitely read the tankou version too because there’s been some changes to the story (10+ pages have been added to the main story) and there’s also some extras to enjoy! I think the changes have made the story even better because it gave me better closer on issues with the ex-boyfriend and the relationship of the two main characters.
For anyone who hasn’t read this series, I highly recommend you start right now!
FYI, for anyone reading this as practice for Japanese, this is a great one to pick up because there’s furigana throughout.

This is probably one of my favourite stories!
In short, the uke suffers from an illness that prevents him from touching people so that limits the physical interaction he has with the seme. The seme, however, is so understanding and patient with the uke. He is 100% a perfect gentleman! He’s so supportive of the uke and I just love how accepting he is. The uke is also really cute - he seems a bit standoffish, but when he opens up he’s so adorable.
Due to the uke’s illness, there’s a lot he hasn’t experienced, including having a relationship. It was really nice seeing the slow and gentle progression of their relationship, and how both worked hard bit by bit to make things work. They both make compromises to strengthen their relationship and you could really feel how much they treasured each other. Maybe it’s because of their lack of physical interaction, when it does happen in the story it feels even more special. Probably one of my favourite scenes in this story is when they kiss over their masks because it was so sweet how the seme showed the uke that there’s ways for them to act like real lovers (this is in the first volume). When they finally are able to have sex in the end, I was truly so happy for them!!
There’s some ups and downs throughout the story, but the major challenge they face is related to the uke’s mother and this is directly linked to the uke’s illness. I felt really sorry for the uke for not having a better childhood, but I liked how the story was eventually resolved. It felt like all the characters were able to move on and find a way forward.
There’s very little smexy time, and that may bother some people, but for me it wasn’t an issue because it suited the story progression.
For those interested, this series has furijana so it’s helpful to those who are still studying Japanese. The themes aren’t that difficult in this story so I encourage others who are studying Japanese to pick this up!
